If you like what you see here, and you happen to have a dollar to spare, please consider sponsoring me. I currently don't have a full-time job, so any support is greatly appreciated. Just click the button below.
Is zephyrfalcon.org a commercial site, then?
No. All my open source programs, articles, and other projects are available free of charge, and will be in the future. I will continue to add content, for fun and simply because I want to create things, not because I want to make a profit... and I will continue to do so even if nobody is interested in sponsoring me. However, if anybody wants to show their appreciation, they're very welcome to do so.
Is there a minimum amount for donations?
Not really, you can donate whatever you want. Even a dollar is appreciated.
What do I get in return?
Besides a warm fuzzy feeling because you helped stimulate innovation and creativity:
1. If you want to, your name will be on a list of generous givers.
2. People who donate can make requests. If you want certain features in a program, or you want me to write about a certain topic, then you can request this with your donation. Your requests will have priority over most other things on my to-do list.
Note: I will only consider reasonable requests. I will not implement security holes in my programs, for example. And, as a general rule, people who donate more get to request more. Also note that this is not a contract of any kind... it's a donation, and as a token of gratitude I might (and probably will) honor your request, but everything within reason. I reserve the right to ignore requests that are (IMHO) unreasonable or just a bad idea.
Also, this doesn't mean that I won't take requests into consideration if you don't pay. :-)
You can also request an entirely new program, but if the amount of work is substantial, maybe it's better to hire me instead.
